1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to our Cricket Fantasy platform ("the Platform"), an interactive environment created to bring cricket lovers together through strategic, skill-based fantasy play. By accessing, browsing, registering, or participating on the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

The Company provides an entertainment service where users can create virtual teams composed of real-world cricket players and earn points based on the actual performance of those players in live matches. The Platform exists solely for lawful entertainment and engagement purposes. No real-money wagering or betting is permitted.

Competence

By creating an Account, you affirm that you possess the legal capacity to enter binding contracts under Indian Contract Act 1872.

Compliance

Users must ensure compliance with all local, state, and national laws before participating. The Company assumes no responsibility for any violation committed by the User.

One Account Policy

Each User may operate only one registered Account. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts will be deactivated without notice.

Automated Access

Bots, scripts, or automated software are strictly prohibited; such activity will result in permanent suspension.

Disqualification

Any User found providing false identity details, misrepresenting location, or breaching eligibility terms will be permanently banned.

Parental Guidance

Although content is non-monetary, minors are not permitted to participate. Parents or guardians are advised to supervise device use to prevent unauthorized access.

4. Account Creation and Verification

Registration Process

To access interactive features, the User must create an Account using a valid email address, phone number, or social-login credential. During registration, accurate personal information must be provided.

Username and Password

• Users must choose unique usernames not violating trademarks or impersonating others.
• Passwords should meet security standards—minimum 8 characters with letters and numbers.
• Users are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and all activity under their Account.

Verification

• The Platform may require mobile OTP or email verification before activation.
• Additional KYC documents (Aadhaar, voter ID) may be requested for integrity verification.
• Failure to provide documentation when requested may lead to restricted access.

Profile Information

Users can upload a display picture and customize their profile bio. Inappropriate or offensive profile content is not allowed and may lead to moderation.

Account Security

The Company implements encryption and secure servers; however, Users must also adopt safety practices such as logging out after sessions and avoiding shared devices. The Company is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access due to User negligence.

Account Ownership

Accounts are non-transferable. Any attempt to sell or trade Accounts will lead to permanent suspension. Users may not create Accounts on behalf of others without explicit authorization.

Deactivation and Deletion

Users may request Account deletion through support. The Company reserves the right to retain minimal data as required by law (e.g., audit or dispute records).

Reactivation

Suspended or deleted Accounts may be reactivated at the Company's discretion following compliance checks.

Communication Preferences

By registering, Users consent to receive service-related notifications via email, SMS, or push alerts. Marketing communications are optional and may be opted out at any time.

Data Privacy

All personal data collected during registration is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We do not share personal details with third parties except for legitimate operational or legal reasons.

5. Platform Access and Usage Rules

Access Rights

The Platform grants Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use its services strictly in accordance with these Terms. Users agree not to exploit, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Platform without written consent.

Platform Updates

The Company reserves the right to modify or upgrade features, user interface, scoring systems, or software functionalities at any time for performance or compliance purposes.

Availability

While the Platform strives to maintain 24×7 accessibility, temporary downtimes may occur due to maintenance, server updates, or unforeseen disruptions. The Company is not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

Software and Device Requirements

• Users are responsible for ensuring their device and internet connection meet technical requirements.
• The Platform may not function properly on outdated browsers or unsupported operating systems.
• Mobile users are encouraged to download official versions only from recognized app stores.

User Interface Behavior

The Platform experience should be used responsibly without manipulating or exploiting system vulnerabilities. Any interference with normal gameplay operations (including unauthorized data scraping or reverse engineering) is prohibited.

Content Ownership

All visual designs, graphics, code, and textual content on the Platform are owned by the Company. Users are granted usage rights only for personal entertainment, not commercial reproduction.

6. Contest Participation Rules

Nature of Contests

Contests are skill-based simulations where Users create teams of real cricket players to compete based on player performance in actual matches.

Registration

• Each Contest may require Users to confirm participation prior to match start.
• Entry into any Contest signifies acceptance of that Contest's specific rules as displayed on the Platform.

Team Formation

• Users select players within predefined limits (e.g., 11 players per team, budget constraints).
• Team composition must comply with category limits such as batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders, and wicketkeepers.
• Teams can be edited until the official deadline announced before match start.

Submissions and Deadlines

• Once the contest is locked, Users cannot modify team selections.
• The Platform time-stamps every entry; late submissions are automatically rejected.

Multiple Contests

Users may participate in multiple Contests for the same match using different strategies. However, automated duplication of teams across multiple contests is restricted.

Performance Evaluation

• Points are allocated according to the Platform's scoring system based on real match statistics.
• The Platform's algorithms rely on publicly available data sources and verified score APIs.
• Minor scoring discrepancies due to third-party feeds may be corrected post-match.

Fair Play Verification

The Company monitors activity logs for unusual behavior. Any attempt to exploit scoring mechanisms or duplicate accounts will result in suspension.

Disqualification

Users breaching rules, submitting offensive team names, or engaging in manipulative behavior may be disqualified without notice.

Result Declaration

Final team rankings are published after official match completion and data verification. Platform decisions are final and binding.

7. Points System and Fair Play Policy

Scoring Principles

• Points are based on measurable real-world player performance: runs scored, wickets taken, catches, strike rates, etc.
• Negative points may apply for poor performance such as low economy rates or slow strike rates.
• Captain and Vice-Captain selections may yield bonus multipliers (e.g., 2×, 1.5× respectively).

Data Accuracy

Official cricket data sources are used to ensure integrity. If match data is revised (e.g., due to DLS method or score correction), fantasy results may also be updated.

Fair Play Pledge

All Users agree to participate in the spirit of fair competition. The Platform encourages responsible behavior, discouraging spam, manipulation, or misuse of shared information.

Anti-Cheating Measures

• Automated detection systems monitor IP addresses, unusual activity, and identical team patterns.
• Collusion between multiple Users or coordinated gaming is prohibited.
• Users proven to engage in unfair means will face permanent bans.

Transparency

Scoring rules and match results remain publicly visible for clarity. Any user queries are resolved through the official grievance process.

8. User Responsibilities

Accurate Information

Users must maintain truthful, updated account information. Misrepresentation or false data may lead to account suspension.

Lawful Use

The Platform may only be used for lawful and ethical purposes. Users must comply with all applicable Indian cyber and content laws.

Community Conduct

• Use respectful language in chats, comments, and usernames.
• Harassment, abusive communication, or hate speech is strictly prohibited.
• Users are responsible for their own posts and uploaded content.

Intellectual Property Respect

Users may not copy or distribute Company trademarks, logos, or copyrighted materials.

Technical Compliance

Users should not attempt to hack, modify, or exploit the software code. Any detected intrusion will be escalated to cyber authorities.

Feedback

Constructive feedback or bug reports are welcome but must be submitted through official channels. Users shall not publicly defame or misrepresent the Platform.

Device Security

Users must ensure personal devices are free of malware or scripts that could affect Platform operations.

Data Responsibility

Users are responsible for backing up personal data such as team history and performance statistics. The Company is not obligated to restore deleted data.

Usage Limits

The Platform reserves the right to impose reasonable usage restrictions to prevent excessive resource consumption or abuse.

Breach of Conduct

Repeated or serious breaches of conduct will lead to immediate account termination and potential legal action.

9. Prohibited Activities

To maintain a clean and compliant ecosystem, the following actions are strictly forbidden:

• Attempting to manipulate results, scores, or algorithms.
• Creating multiple fake accounts or identities.
• Using bots, scripts, or automated programs to gain advantage.
• Sharing personal login credentials with others.
• Uploading offensive, obscene, or defamatory material.
• Engaging in activities resembling betting, gambling, or monetary wagering.
• Interfering with other users' experience or introducing harmful software.
• Misusing Platform trademarks or branding for promotional gain.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or replicate the Platform's proprietary systems.
• Misrepresenting affiliation with official cricket authorities or sponsors.
• Posting misleading information about contests, teams, or results.
• Exploiting platform bugs or loopholes without reporting them to the Company.
• Selling, renting, or trading user accounts or team data.
• Encouraging others to breach Platform Terms or local laws.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

All Platform content, design, graphics, software, interfaces, algorithms, and databases are the exclusive property of the Company. Users acknowledge that no ownership rights are transferred to them by virtue of accessing or using the Platform.

Trademark Protection

The Platform name, logo, icons, and slogans are protected under applicable trademark laws. Unauthorized usage, reproduction, or imitation is strictly prohibited.

Copyrighted Material

All text, player statistics, visuals, promotional banners, and digital artwork are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957. Users may not reproduce or redistribute such content without written consent.

User-Generated Content

• Users who submit comments, feedback, or suggestions grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, or modify such content for operational improvement.
• The Company retains the right to moderate or remove inappropriate submissions.

Third-Party Rights

Certain cricket-related images, data feeds, or graphics may belong to third parties licensed to the Platform. Users agree not to claim ownership or misuse such intellectual property.

Violation Consequences

Breach of this clause may result in immediate suspension and legal action under Indian IP laws.

11. Security & Data Protection

User Data Safety

The Platform implements multi-layered encryption, firewall security, and SSL protocols to protect user data. However, absolute online security cannot be guaranteed, and Users agree to assume reasonable risk inherent in digital communications.

Data Collection

The Platform collects essential data such as username, device details, and gameplay statistics to enhance user experience. All processing complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Data Usage

• User data is utilized for analytics, fraud prevention, and performance monitoring.
• The Company does not sell, rent, or lease personal data to third parties.
• Certain aggregated, anonymized data may be shared with partners for technical improvement.

Access Control

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials. Any suspicious activity must be reported immediately.

Third-Party Integrations

• If you use third-party logins (e.g., Google or Apple ID), their privacy policies apply.
• The Platform is not liable for data practices of external partners or advertisers.

Data Retention

Personal information may be retained for the duration of your account and as required by law for dispute resolution or audit purposes.

In the event of a breach, Users will be notified in accordance with applicable Indian data protection guidelines.

Children's Data

Performance Variability

No Responsibility for Third Parties

Indirect Loss

The Company will not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of reputation, data, or opportunities.

Force Majeure

User Equipment

Users are solely responsible for maintaining their devices, software compatibility, and stable internet connection.

Legal Compliance

The Platform functions under current Indian laws governing skill-based digital activities. Changes in legal frameworks may impact accessibility or terms.

13. Indemnification

User Obligation

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, affiliates, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Violation of these Terms,
• Misuse of the Platform,
• Infringement of third-party rights,
• Submission of unlawful or offensive content, or
• Breach of intellectual property regulations.

Cooperation

In case of legal proceedings arising from User activity, the User agrees to fully cooperate with the Company's defense.

Limitation of Responsibility

The Company retains the right to assume exclusive control over any matter subject to indemnification and reserves the right to settle disputes at its discretion.

14. Suspension & Termination

Grounds for Suspension

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice in case of:

• Breach of Terms or Policies,
• Submission of fraudulent data,
• Malicious activity or system exploitation,
• Misuse of trademarks or intellectual property,
• Violation of law, or
• User inactivity for an extended period.

User-Initiated Termination

Users may deactivate accounts voluntarily via their profile settings or by contacting customer support.

Consequences of Termination

• Access to all Platform features and user data will cease immediately.
• The Company reserves the right to retain minimal information for record and compliance purposes.
• Terminated Users may be permanently restricted from re-registration.

Appeal Process

Users who believe their account was wrongfully suspended may file an appeal via official email support with appropriate documentation.

Reinstatement

The Company may restore accounts at its sole discretion following verification and correction of violations.

Post-Termination Obligations

Users remain responsible for any conduct or liability arising before termination.

15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Dispute Mechanism

In case of any disagreement regarding Platform services, Users must first contact the grievance redressal team at the provided support email.

Mediation First Approach

Both parties agree to resolve disputes amicably through mediation before pursuing legal remedies.

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts located in New Delhi, India.

Arbitration Option

If mutual agreement allows, disputes may be referred to a single arbitrator appointed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.

Legal Costs

Each party shall bear its own legal expenses unless otherwise directed by the arbitrator or court.

Record Preservation

All electronic logs, messages, and activity records maintained by the Company shall serve as valid evidence in any proceeding.

User Cooperation

Users agree to cooperate during investigations and to provide accurate statements if required by authorities.

16. User Conduct Policy

Code of Behaviour

The Platform promotes the spirit of cricket—fairness, integrity, and respect. Users must uphold these principles at all times. Abusive language, threats, bullying, or harassment of any kind are prohibited.

Respectful Communication

• Messages, usernames, and posts must remain polite and non-discriminatory.
• Racism, communal comments, or insults directed at players or other Users are strictly forbidden.
• Violation may lead to suspension or permanent account deletion.

Community Engagement

Users may engage in forums or chat rooms where available, provided interactions remain relevant and constructive. The Company moderates public discussions and may remove any content deemed harmful.

Integrity of Play

Users shall not share insider information, coordinate with other players to manipulate outcomes, or exploit system vulnerabilities.

Prohibition of Harmful Software

Any introduction of viruses, trojans, or malicious code into the Platform is a punishable cyber-offense under the Information Technology Act 2000.

Reporting Violations

Users who witness misconduct may report it via the in-app complaint option or official email. Verified reports receive prompt attention.

Platform Reputation

Users must not make false public claims or spread misinformation about the Platform on social media or elsewhere. Constructive feedback is always welcome through official channels.

Repeat Offenses

Accounts repeatedly violating the conduct policy will be permanently terminated and may be reported to authorities.

External Resources

The Platform may feature hyperlinks to partner websites, news feeds, or cricket-statistic providers. These links are offered for convenience only. The Company does not control or endorse third-party content.

No Liability

The Company is not responsible for accuracy, reliability, or legality of external services, nor for any loss resulting from User interaction with third-party platforms.

Advertising & Sponsorship

Occasionally, third-party promotional banners or brand integrations may appear within the Platform. Such advertising shall comply with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidelines.

Third-Party Accounts

Where login through third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Apple ID) is available, Users must also adhere to those services' terms.

APIs & Data Sources

Match statistics or player data displayed may come from licensed third-party APIs. While the Platform strives for accuracy, discrepancies are possible due to timing or source limitations.

User Discretion

Users are encouraged to review the privacy and usage terms of any external site before proceeding.

18. Amendments & Notifications

Right to Modify

The Company reserves the right to revise these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any related guidelines at any time to reflect operational or legal developments.

Effective Date

Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication on the Platform unless stated otherwise.

User Notification

Significant updates will be communicated via email, push notification, or an in-app alert. Minor clarifications may be implemented silently.

User Obligation

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are advised to review the Terms periodically.

Version Control

Waiver
