By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and all related policies such as the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Fantasy Rules, and Responsible Gaming Policy. These documents collectively govern your relationship with the Platform and supersede any prior verbal or written understanding.

No Corporate Entities

Accounts must be opened by natural persons. Automated bots or corporate registrations are forbidden.

Verification

We may require identity or age proof at any time. Failure to provide authentic documents can lead to suspension.

Availability

Features may vary across devices and versions; we reserve the right to modify or withdraw services without notice.

Indian Jurisdiction Only

These Terms apply solely to users located within India. Overseas access is not supported.

Compliance with Statutes

Operations follow the Information Technology Act 2000 and its rules, including the Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code Rules 2021.

Local Variations

States with specific fantasy-sports regulations (e.g., Sikkim, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu) will govern local participants accordingly.

Dispute Resolution Venue

All legal issues shall be subject to courts within the Company's registered state in India.

7. User Representation and Warranties

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

• All information you submit is true, accurate, and complete
• You will not create multiple accounts or impersonate another individual
• You possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law
• You will use the Platform only for lawful and ethical purposes
• You understand that rewards are non-monetary and that participation is purely for skill development

11. Account Creation & Registration

Registration Process

To participate, users must complete the registration form with valid details such as name, email, and mobile number. Accounts may also require a one-time verification (OTP or email).

Authenticity of Information

By registering, you confirm that all details provided are accurate. Use of false identity or misrepresentation is prohibited.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity under your account will be deemed initiated by you.

Multiple Accounts Prohibited

Each user may maintain only one account. Duplicate or shared accounts may be terminated.

Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable an account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent behavior, or non-compliance with Indian laws.

Inactivity & Data Retention

Accounts inactive for 12 months may be archived or deleted after notice. User data will be retained per our Privacy Policy.

12. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Platform ethically and lawfully
• Avoid spamming, hacking, or any activity that could disrupt servers
• Report any suspicious activity or vulnerability to our support team
• Respect intellectual property rights of others

Fair play is the core of our Cricket Fantasy Platform. All users must adhere to the following principles:

No Unfair Advantage

Use only information publicly available. Any unauthorized access to confidential match data is strictly prohibited.

No Automated Tools

Bots, scripts, or AI automation for team creation or selection are forbidden.

No Collusion

Users may not collaborate to manipulate contest results.

Transparency

Leaderboard scores are based on publicly verifiable statistics from official sources.

Investigation Authority

We reserve the right to audit activities and take necessary actions (including suspension) to ensure fair competition.

15. Gameplay Access and Participation

• Users create virtual teams composed of real-life players scheduled to play a specific cricket match
• Each player is assigned virtual points based on real-life performance (runs, wickets, catches, strike rate etc.)
• Users earn Leaderboard Rankings based on total points accumulated
• Contests are time-bound and close before the real-world match begins
• Late entries are not accepted once the match starts

Definition

"Points" refer to non-monetary, virtual units awarded based on a user's gameplay, performance, and activity. They represent skill level and participation only, not currency or monetary value.

Non-Transferability

Points cannot be exchanged, transferred, or converted into cash, goods, or services. They hold no real-world financial worth.

Earning Points

Users earn points through:

• Team performance in contests
• Participation in learning modules or quizzes
• Completion of in-app achievements or milestones

Expiry of Points

Points may expire after 12 months of inactivity or when the Platform updates its scoring policy. Expired points cannot be reinstated.

Leaderboard Integration

Points determine a user's ranking on leaderboards, badges, or digital tiers. These ranks are solely for recognition and educational motivation.

Misuse of Points

Manipulating the point system, such as using multiple accounts or exploiting system bugs, may lead to deduction or account suspension.

26. Account Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

Grounds for Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate a user's account if they:

• Violate these Terms or the Privacy Policy
• Attempt to manipulate scores, teams, or contests
• Use false identity information
• Engage in harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity
• Cause harm to the reputation or functioning of the Platform

Temporary Suspension

For minor violations, users may be temporarily suspended and allowed to appeal or correct their conduct.

Permanent Ban

Repeated or severe misconduct can result in permanent deactivation of the account.

Data Retention Post-Termination

Upon deletion, the Platform may retain certain information for compliance with data laws or security audits for a reasonable period.

27. Limitation of Liability

The Platform operates "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties or guarantees about uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or accuracy of data.

The Company shall not be liable for:

• Any technical issue, delay, or server downtime
• Errors in data from third-party cricket sources
• Any loss of virtual points, ranks, or rewards
• Unauthorized access to user accounts due to user negligence
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any nature

30. Dispute Resolution

Internal Resolution First

Users must first attempt to resolve issues by contacting our Support Team at support@cricketfantasy.in.

Escalation Procedure

If the issue remains unresolved within 30 days, users may escalate to our Grievance Officer, whose details are provided in the Privacy Policy.

Arbitration

In case of further disputes, the matter shall be referred to a single arbitrator appointed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration venue shall be Mumbai, India.

Governing Language

Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.

Jurisdiction

Subject to arbitration clauses, courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

The Platform operates in compliance with the laws of India, particularly:

Skill-Based Classification

As recognized by various Indian High Courts, fantasy sports are classified as games of skill and not gambling, provided outcomes depend on user knowledge and decision-making. The Platform adheres strictly to this classification.

Non-Gambling Policy

No real money or monetary wagering is permitted. All contests, points, and rewards are virtual. Any user found violating this rule will face permanent account termination and legal consequences.

Data Retention and Record Keeping

We maintain transaction and login records in compliance with Indian data storage regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.

Government Cooperation

The Platform will cooperate with government authorities and law enforcement agencies in the event of any legal investigation, subject to due legal process.

40. Intellectual Property Protection

Ownership

All logos, names, graphics, software, databases, and layouts are proprietary assets of the Company.

User License

The Platform grants users a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use its services solely for entertainment and learning purposes.

Prohibited Use

Users shall not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

Copyright Violation Reporting

Any intellectual property infringement must be reported immediately to ip-complaints@cricketfantasy.in with proof of ownership.

Protection Mechanisms

All intellectual property is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

56. Responsible Conduct and Ethical Participation

The Platform encourages users to play responsibly and maintain a healthy balance between online activities and personal life.

Fantasy sports should be approached as a form of learning and entertainment — not as a source of income or monetary gain.

Users should avoid excessive use that interferes with work, education, or well-being.

57. Mental and Digital Well-Being

The Company advocates for digital well-being and mental health. Players are advised to take regular breaks, set screen-time limits, and use built-in device controls to manage usage.

58. Parental Guidance and Minor Protection

Minors (under 18 years) are not permitted to register or use the Platform. Parents or guardians who discover unauthorized use by a minor should notify us immediately at safety@cricketfantasy.in for account removal.
